When I pulled the tank out of my 1275LS in 98 it had a small rust hole where it sits on the mount. I would guess that most of them would have done it by now.
The Australian made small tanks were much better quality than the imported big ones, I think they were zinc plated better.

I can't believe that a car like that could sit out there exposed for so long without being vandalised , damaged or stolen,bloody lucky i'd say. Ive had cars in no where near that condition that i wouldn't leave on the street.
