I went to melbourne on thursday and on the way down we passed two mini mokes, a red one and a white one. I tried to get a picture but by the time I had the camera out t was too late and it was starting to get dark so by the time we had passed them it was too dark to see them behind us.

On the way back with my brother we saw a purple mini going in the other directions. both Troy and I are sure we saw this mini in the for sale section at some point in time. It was very light purple and had L plates... couldnt get a photo as it was ging in the opposite diretion and was gone very quickly...

Does anyone happen to be the people that were in these minis????

The two Mokes could have been the Canberra contingent who attended the muster....were they being driven by elderly Gentlemen ? ( :P ).....

where did you see the light purple 850 :?: I saw one fitting that description near the Morris vehicle display in Queanbeyan on Saturday.

If by elderly you mean older than myself... then yes. Well, Actually I really didnt get that greater look at the blokes driving it... I was more interested in the mokes.
I think, from memory of a brief sighting they were about 30 -40 odd...

The purple mini was somewhere in between albury and Sydney....
Now I realise how broad that is. But you need to understand that everything looks the same out that way.... leaving albury the landmarks are burnt out paddoks... passing canberra(this time of year) you get yellow trees... and every hundred or so kilometres there is a maccas and a petrol station....

do you know the blokes from canberra? I used to live there (for 8 years,) and I never saw many minis.... do you know i they live on the north side or the south side?

If the purple mini was going our way I may hae been a little more interested in the driver as it had L plates up... making it a little more likely for the driver to be close to my age...   :!:
