Scott and i were out in the commodore the other day, and were driving along heyers rd back to scotts house, when we see this black mini coming towards us. I thought it was a nice looking morris mini til scott yelled "crap thats an austin 7!" It even had the original british numberplate on the bootlid (the Vic one was in the back window) I'm just upset that i didnt get a picture.

You mean this one:

except it now has contessas on it?

It belongs to a mate of mine in Grovedale. It was one of our wedding cars and I borrow it occasionally. 1966 Austin Mini Super-Deluxe. It was imported by the first owner in the mid-70's. I put the UK plate back on the bootlid years ago and rigged up the vic plate with a seperate light under the rear bumper. Looks better with the UK plate there. :)

But eyes off, I have first option if he ever sells. I've been trying to buy it for 10 years...

I don't think it leaves the shed much these days. He has about 10 classic cars in the shed to play with, plus a double decker bus! Among his collection is/was a gold 1275LS - your car's twin! Although his one is not as tidy as yours.

Cheers,

No, not taking the piss, I'm serious. :)

Ken's 1275LS has rust around the seams and the paint is a bit flat. It also hasn't been registered or driven much for about 10 years. Poeee's is tidier.
