Just got back from a great weeks holiday in Sabah (Malaysian Borneo)...

99% of vehicles seem to be Korean.... with a few Toyota Landcruisers and similar thrown in....

Different world for sure....

Other than old Landrovers - only saw 4 European vehicles...

Brand new BMW...
Pretty new Alfa...
Oldish Volvo...
... all obviously Luxury Imports...

and about 4km from the Oragun-Tan sanctuary at Sandakan.... was a Metallic Lime Green mini - only saw the rear as the bus drove past the house.... looks like a Japanese import by the number plate frame..... tried to take a photo on the return trip - but missed...

Also found a copy of MiniWorld at the newsagent.....

Must be a few mini-ites there who can but dream of owning a mini ...

If I had of known you were Going to Sabah "KK" and Malaysia I could have given you a crap load of Info
I use to work for the airline and that was 18 Years
I hope you went to KL and saw the Mozzies on the Green Lights they do love thier Little Bikes

There is quite a following of old minis in Malaysia & singapore. I lived in Singapore for four years and attended a couple of mini events - quite a few malaysians drove down for it. Have some photos somewhere. I must drag them out and scan some.
