there's been a white moke with Qld plates running around Launceston for the last few days - have seen it quite a bit.
Visitor or new immigrant?

AND another 2 mokes today - red with nsw plates and hardtop (loaded to the roof), and blue one (not sure of plates - saw it side-on). PLUS a white clubbie and a yellow clubbie, both tas plated.
It's raining mini's in tassie!!

You should have spotted 10 Mokes with mainland plates plus a couple of Tasmanians, theres a Moke tour of Tassie on at the moment.

OK , I thought it must have been Alsminik moving house with all his ... Would be a fun place to tour with the mokes or mini's , you guy's don't like straight roads down there do you ? We were there early last year and then it was a porsche club running about , all the very early VW based ones ...

I caught up with the tourers the other night and most of them said something like "You guys have great roads for Mokes down here". They're having a ball, basically spending a fortnight cruising the state. The weather has been good to them and last I heard they'd had no major mechanical problems. Unfortunately I had to go to work, so I couldn't get to play.

Now I understand........I thought there might be something like that going on.
I'll try to throw myself in front of one of them and say g'day.

Cheers
Peter :)

The were staying at the Treasure Island Caravan Park, but may have moved on by today.

Might have a squizz in the morning just in case they're still there - thanks Tim.
