I spotted a couple of clubbies in a dealership as I went past in a taxi, here they are.

Check out the COE cost (permission to drive the car for 10 years) - you'll never complain again about forking out $300 in Australia.

But also remeber that the COE is expiring in 2009 - therefore it is $28,000 for 2 years then the vehicle is either scrapped or moved offshore Unless a special exemption is given(the cost is in excess of $75000 for a further extension). But you never see crappy cars in Singas - and very clean!!

Berthing at Sembawang and seeing all the cars sitting there waiting to go to Indonesia and elsewhere is amazing.
Thousands of them sitting there and waiting to go.

Hooroo

They send 10 year old S-class MB to NZ, the kiwis snap them up for $15K and turn them into taxis. :)

I can tell you you're wrong, I rode in plenty of cars with more than 50,000 kms on the odometer, and a couple were fastidious owners.

When you pay over $100K for a Honda Civic, you tend to look after it.

The cab was moving, and there were two lanes of traffic between me and the footpath! :)
