God I'd forgotten how many minis there are still on the roads over here.

Everyday in the small town I work (population 28,000) I see minis around.

Normally in Sydney it's maybe a weekly or twice weekly occurrence and only if I am out and about a lot.

Here I live 200 yards from my work and 500 yards from the Town Centre & Supermarket and on a normal day that's about as far as I travel - and have seen minis every day since I arrived (2 weeks ago).

In addition, I've driven into London about 5 or 6 times in the past 2 weeks and have seen minis on each trip as well.

Of course I still get the urge to flash my lights or wave but as I'm either walking or driving a Nissan NX Coupe, I've resisted the temptation so far

I miss my mini....

Only 12 weeks until I get back though.

my aunt used to live in Hatfield, and the last time i was there in 1986 she drove a beige mini mayfair

The Galleria used to have an aussie bar there a few years back with all the good beers.
