Was just up at a garage sale that was spotted on the way to north dandenong, when we got diverted up Gladstone Road because heatherton road was closed, and what do I spot in the front yard across the road as I walk out of the place with the garage sale? A mini - in an awesome purple/green pearlescent paintjob! Niiiice :)

Wasn't the one that was at minis on the murray a couple of years back was it??

Cheers,

DG

Did it have 14inch wheels?

For some reason I get Jan Small's Mutant Mini in mind. But I don't know if that car lives in Vic or not.

I like solid, simple colours. But to each his own.

Imagine trying to touch up a paint chip on that pearl stuff.

Nope!

Mutant has a base colour, the prismatic coats and Ice in the Clear coat - it also had some chips out of the rear seam cover and an area about 1 by 2 foot was repainted on the rear corner. Here's a challenge for the next time you see her - pick the side
