ok here is the story, a few months ago i was at the airport picking up my sister and there was a purple bmw mini in the carpark and i took a photo on my phone...I remember the driver side rear view mirror was broken and pushed in. I was there again today as my sister went overseas yet again and the bini is still there in exactly the same parking spot, the mirror pushed in the same way and the tyres are flat...it just seems a bit wierd to me that it is still there...It wasn't in the long term parking bay but the short term parking bay.

The owner probably doesn't know it's there , ex girl/boyfriend borrowed the MINI when they went O/S and decided to leave it at the airport for them .....

When I was working at the airport we did some drainage work in that carpark and the amount of dumped cars was amazing , nearly all HQ and XB wagons with mattress's in the back . Backpackers buy them cheap and then dump them there when they fly out but according to a guard that was taking the numbers from one they track the owner down through rego details and send the fine to them wherever they are , often several thousand $ , far more than the cars worth , people don't think they'll chase them once they've left the country ....
