After quite a drought in the mini-spotting sense, I saw two obviously well-loved mini restorations ripping around Melbourne Wednesday and Thursday this week.

#1 was a metallic blue Mini coming out of an alley into York Street off Punt Road about 6:30pm Wednesday 30th April. I was unloading my car into Midian Rehearsal studios and paused with my amp precariously balanced to sigh as you drove by, lol!

#2 was a black mini van with silver bonnet stripes and a Fender sticker on the side glass, Thursday 1st May on Springvale road about 9:30am. Reg began WAM ... I was so stoked to see this because my money is on the fact that the owner is a muso - and it's precisely the first Mini I'm looking for

Both looked and sounded great. Such a pleasure to see them scoot past.
