A guy driving his poor mini in 41 degrees today

At least he had his 660 air con going, (6 windows 60 ks).

The extra two windows make for supercharged air blasts too.

I drove mine alot yesterday but got caught in traffic in the city. It doesnt like sitting still in the heat :?

It keeps perfectly cool whilst moving but it just struggles to keep up when at a stand still.

Time to make some changes. Luckily today it is only getting driven to work and there is no traffic. 44 degrees here today

Matt

I was lucky, waited till after 6 last night to take the Moke out, fan forced aircon! But actually really hot in the sun
But it was great this morning before the sun came up! Yep heading for 44, hiding inside all day for me!

yep we're headed for 43 in melb tomorrow. will take the mini out for a run in the evening but will be staying out of the sun! it survived in 39 degree heat the other day but it's not worth the risk!

Have just come back to the coast after a trip to the city - 44 up there, 43 here. Saw a very tidy Moke Californian, roof down!!! Now that's commitment!

I drove mine around a fair bit yesterday. But i did remember to check the water a couple of times.

It's good cos mum and dad gave me some seat covers for christmas so now i don't stick to the seats.

The worst thing was when a had to bring the mini in from being parked out the front, and the steering wheel was that hot it was burning my little fingies.
