What better way to finish a perfect sunny Sunday than a cruise to Watsons Bay with 68 Deluxe and CZerial..!

Spotted amongst 100 Binis we managed to spot "Min"... an off white totally origainal Mini Deluxe complete with original mats and seats and EVERYTHING right down to the engine and hubcaps.

Also spoken to was the son of the owner of a totally original 1100 olive green PANEL VAN...

Look out for both these guys as newbies. The site was duly pushed forward to them..!

 Ahh everyone loves minis...

What's so funny about doing my engine?

It's going to be a long haul for Lillee... I am thinking new wiring loom, indicators need attention, steering column needs attention, redo the hydro bags, dust seals etc, definately disc brakes and with that new ball joints, maybe new bearings, definately new CV joints, maybe new pot joints. Then I have a whole new set of contessa's waiting for their turn to be installed, then I have rear brake cylinder to change to smaller S ones, then I've got to deal with relocating the fuel pump to the back with a solid state one, once that is done I will think about a RH tank and fixing that damn sender unit for the LH tank. Then I need a new S Speedo with new speedo cable so i can start telling what speed I am actually doing  , i need a s/s clutch master cylinder to replace the plastic one that I have now, then i got to start thinking about fitting in a brake booster somewhere (maybe inside the cabin under the passenger side dash as I have a matic heater that I want to keep), I have a oil cooler (thank god) which will need body mods to fit in (45 degree brace behind the grille instead of current right angled brace).

All this and I haven't even started with the engine yet!!! With the engine where do I start! :?  exhaust needs to go, 3in1 perry needs to go (leaking like a primary school bubbler) and replaced with LCB, radiator's got to be changed as it's an 1100 that's in there now and it's not securely bolted on. Since I am thinking of a remote change box i might have to "fix" the hacking that they did to Lillee's floor to fit the rod change shifter in  .

Then only can I think about a 1275 engine itself!

So no laughing matter!!!
