At Steamfest in Maitland today there were several, a nice metallic blue MK 1 , a light lime green clubbie, Michael Wilks gold clubbie, an unmolested 850, a burgundy clubby van, a deluxe & another roundie, all nice cars in their own right. As well there was a nice powder blue roundie ( possibly a Cooper S , not sure but i got a wave ) in the park on the south side of Singleton and on the way back home i must of passed a dozen Bini's that were heading south that must of been on a run somewhere. It must of been just the right weather to get em out for the day. Colin . |

YEAH, I SAW THAT METALLIC BLUE MK 1 AND IT TOOK OUT TWO TROPHIES. DID HEAR THERE WAS OVER 700 CARS ON DISPLAY STEAMFEST. :?: :?: :?: |

Yeah i actually asked old mate that owned the Blue MK1 if i could park beside him as i didn't think that our mob ( 8 cars ) were going to find a park ,but he was a bit reluctant, i now know why , when i had a look at his car he had it all opened up and i wouldn't of left him enough room to display it the way he did. At the end of the day he was driving out of the park and as he idled past me i did comment to him as to how nice his car was. Colin. |
