Whos LS is broken down in Edge Hill. The lady in the shop where the car is said it's been there for about 2 weeks and hasn't moved. It has 12 minilites, Yoko A048s and www.ausmini.com stickers on both side windows, oh and also missing the fuel cap(Rag inserted). Very nice little car. leave it any longer and it might disappear!! i like it!

I've never seen this car on the road up here. Stu this isn't the car you had in the workshop was it? i'm pretty sure it didn't have any extras on it!
also it's just been reregisted from the looks of the number plates.

Hmmm...could be my old beast.... :P

It didn't have seat covers and 12" Minilites on it when it sold two years ago. David's his name.

Here he is driving off, he drove it from Melbourne to Cairns

Also the 1275 badge has moved, but note the silver paint to the left of the center of the grill badge. Maybe...

I wonder if its the same reason that you see shoes thrown over power lines down some streets in front of particular houses.

I'll have to get the Minister for War, Finance, Laundry and Infernal Revenue documents to find the paperwork for me. She says she's making dinner and won't look now. Cooking is another of her portfolios :P

I also looked in the boot and had a long range tank in it!! I am 100% it is your old car Mick, that rub mark on the right hand side of the badge on the grille is exactly the same!

I talked to the owner today! David told me the clutch has gone in it! He picked it up early this week due to finding someone in the car trying to steal it!!!

It's good to see it will be safe and sound again...
Clutch throw out bearing or clutch plate? I figure you can get home usually with a slipping clutch, unless you lived in Kuranda..

Some nit removed the one in mine and put a 25l in. Either that or the factory was out that day :?

The big tanks rust out quicker than the Australian made small tanks.

The car in this thread also had a 25 litre tank in it as well which I thought was odd because of the complete originality of the rest of the car. Josh at Mini Imports had a EFI long range tank he threw in with the car, and that's the tank you see in this car's boot. I believe they might differ slightly to the non-EFI tanks.
