On a recent trip to Alice Springs I spotted a couple of Minis at the National Transport Museum.

One I'm not sure what it is. Roundy, Rover Grille, Leyland Tailights, Leyland Speedo etc, switches and steering column, and labelled a '68 Cooper S. The bootlid has evidence of having an 850 badge, but now has a Cooper badge.

The other, which I prefer :) is a very early 850. English Grey, very original, although in need of a tidy up. I'm not sure if it's on the 850 register. I'll let the pictures explain the rest...

And a couple of others on the way back, in Victoria
