I'll get to read that in "Border Mail" on Tuesday as we are getting copies of it posted (looking at moving to Wodonga).

Well done

cheers :D

Not in the border mail though, it was in the free paper that's put out twice a week

Wodonga's not a bad place to live, plenty of minis around. Quite high on the bogan quotient though unfortunately

edit: you're from Ballarat! I grew up in Ballarat, moved here when I was 21. It's basically the same place but warmer, and further away from Melbourne

Sounds like Wodonga will be just like home! I did note the "bogan" content at Wodonga plaza a few weeks back when we were having a look around.

Warmer weather will be good, the wife wants to be closer to home and I want Vic rego costs (plus club reg)! Pity realestate is not as cheap as Ballarat though.

Is your dad a member of the Ballarat vintage and classic car club?

Cheers
Lyndon

yep, Bruce Kerr is his name. Long time VCCC and Morris Minor club member. Has a few Minors, a Jag and a brick

I didn't want to move to Albury for the same reasons as you, higher costs, yearly roadworthies etc. etc.

I thought real estate was about the same as Ballarat, or that Ballarat was getting higher because of the number of Melbourne commuters - obviously not :)

thanks Brett - the fella just had an ipod recording us and when we'd finished talking minis, he said "is there anything else you want to say" and the bit about teaching kids to drive is what we need to focus on for the club
