Wow that's really close to me.

I've seen a red Cooper like that a few times around Annandale and always thought it could be another RSP as it's got the sunroof which they didn't put on the mainstream coopers as standard. Picture isn't clear enough to see the wheel nuts, which would help give it away.

Might drop past on way home from the station tonight and see if it's parked up.

You're right its an RSP.

The give away isn't the wheel nuts, its the colour of the mirrors and arches.

Yep, you're right, but those are also easily done as aftermarket things (or even cooperising another late 80s special edition or Mayfair), the wheels on the other hand only ever came with RSPs as far as i'm aware, so there's a very limited number of them in the world, wheras anyone can get mirrors and standard whell arches painted in body colour

Like I said, i was thinking that everything else pointed to it being an RSP, the wheels would tip it for me!
