Given that it is a Mark11, it is quite possibly Jet Red which was an original colour in 1969 and 1971 according to the colour charts (see the thread on Paint Colours in Mini Chat). That certainly looks very similar to the Jet Red car that we had, but I am having problems posting a picture for your reference. PM me your email address and I'll send it that way. Cheers Richard |

I'll email picture. Looking at the Mk11 Register, there are a lot of Jet Red cars delivered in 1970 as well which is contrary to the official Paint Lists. It does seem likely that they would have gone through with Jet Red from 1969 to 1971 and that the list is just incorrect. Richard |
