Metalfab,

Probably under the boot. I could have a radiator made to fit the front leaving very little clearence between it and the log but i will have nowhere to put the thermo fan ( i would need 3 little fans of 120x120mm in size and even then not sure if they would do the job.

This is leading me to rethink the position of the turbo ???? as above.

Another option would be to move the turbo back and have it parallel to the firewall, trying to cut the log in under the dizzy (mods required to clutch slave then) and then jaming a radiator in front of the gearbox similar to the swift conversions (but the rad would have to be smaller).

I am rambling........

Dan

Looking good!

Just as a matter of interest, those elbows are available as Long Radius (available every industrial supplier) and Short Radius (by order or from a piping supplies - One Steel Piping Systems etc).

Ohhhhhhh, more sleepless nights ahead.

Yep thought the same inazuma, but the only real drama was the dump pipe was going to be right next to the dizzy (melt down). I also thought about having the turbo reversed and the dump pipe facing the grille, still a possibility???

As i write this the ballance of my plates have turned up, look great. This means i now need to make a decision, do i leave it or do i play with it??

piss the dizzy off and go a coilpack? i believe they make these for the 4e-fte...not sure though...

edit: will require a new ECU probably...but it appears to be the route bara went with his...dunno but those things connected to his firewall sure look like coil pack gear to me :)

Core width is 675mm, core height approx 325mm, cross section of tanks 35mm, inlet outlet are identicle at 30mm (OD) probably and inch internal.

Hope this helps. You might be able to sneak it in??

Cheers

Matt
