Andy, good to see things progressing... I may be in your neck of the woods permanently at some stage in which case we can catch up.

Cheers

Matt

***BREAKING NEWS***

The spray painter, Steve, came around today and inspected the Mini.

It was great to meet him again, after so long. He bought his family with him which was nice. It was also nice to see that he is as keen as I am to do it. He is very excited about spraying it and the colour scheme we are going to use.

Anyway, we have settled on a hard and fast date for El Gato to go under the gun - six weeks from today which will make it Sunday 22nd August - D-Day!!

There is still a few things that I have to do to make it totally 100% ready for Steve, but now that I have a deadline to work to things will get done!!

I dont have to tell you that Tricky is a VERY happy man!!! :D

Cheers,
Tricky

Thanks Guys,

Yes, this is a milestone date for sure!

Matt - I will post pics up when it is complete (the paint, not the whole car) and not before. I hope you understand.

Simon - Its like The Emperors New Clothes isnt it?

Ken - Yes it is - sssshhhhhh!!!

Hallsey - I hope it will be puurrrrfffect! It has taken me a lotof time to come up with this colour scheme. Its very complicated, and very difficult to paint, but Steve reckons he is up to the task.

Cheers,
Tricky
