I second that, I pretty much did the same. I was going to go the g13b route when i came across Brad's site and thought this is the way to go.

So I hope i will be on the road by end of March 06.

Cheers Brad

In June '04 I had some time on my hands and I thought, well, maybe I could start playing with my mini again.

So....thought about engine conversions. Bro has abit to do with the starlets, measured it up. Went looking on fleabay for some gt starlet stuff. Found a seller names 13secmini selling some gt and mini stuff. I thought "surely not". The rest is history.

Matt,

While we are reminiscing.
I got given the red mini cause a guy owed me money - smokey A-series an all.

That I think was September 04.

Then, found this guy in the states who dropped in a Daihatsu CB70 into his and it went like a rocket. This was my intent from then on - until I found Brads mini on 16v Mini forum.

Bought the halfcut in November 04 - from Rolins.

Then I found Minstar's site - and that just reinforced my decision about the 4EFTE - however it did change the direction of how I was going to do it (thanks Matt!!).

Did my first weld on April 25th 2005

The rest, as they say, is history. And as I think about it, I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary

Cheers,
Andrew

Those shelves are great for the $$$ and also help your assembly skills with the 3,000 pieces they come in!

Now you just need some lights :D
