hey dude nice going with another swift powered mini.

just wondering what sort of mods you are running to get ya motor to that sort of power??? 180bhp.

i have talked to a couple of suzuki tuners in Western Australia and they reckon I have quite a bit of power for a GTI Mk1 motor.

would be really interested to see what you have done.....

cheers

P.S: If you are looking for advice or gear for ya motor check out www.redlinegti.com
alot of these guys have so much advice to give. plus parts. LSD great idea.

there are a few varients of the ihi rhf4 but most common are on the twin turbo Subaru Liberty. This turbo will be great on a small engine with very fast spool time but will run out of puff around 10-12psi, can make around 200hp from it.

My twin turbo Legacy had two different size turbos I believe. One provided boost early on and the other cam on song later. You should have seen the intercooler on it. It had a buttferfly to stop the first turbo forcing air back down the second turbo. When the second turbo was producing the same amount of boost as the first, the butterfly would open and all hell would break loose. It was all bit strange really. Boosted between idle and 2500rpm then felt to come off boost until 3200rpm when the second came on.

dude on a stock bottom end the best and only power gains come from changing to cultius manifold, bd14 cams, vernier gears, motec and a 4-2-1 exhaust..... Forget making 180 na without big bore..... The above mods are good for 170bhp hard tuned on elf..... trust me ive mucked around with this conversion for around 8 years.......

No need to do rods until you are up over 320 hp.... pistons are a must for over 260hp in na or forced........ do not touch the crank, caps or any bolts......... Factory are much better........ There is no problem with getting a turbo g13b unda a roundy..... and the only pedel boxs ive modified were to hide the masters under dash....... very easy to do...

i'm hoping for a 1400cc over bore, i know of mitsubushi pistons that work, they are 1mm to tall, this will enable me to get the squish perfect.

what mitsubishi pistons are you using???
how big overbore are you going??? what size bore???

Dude why would you go to all this trouble of machining a g13b to squeze and stress the components when you can just use a g16a block assembly bolt a twin cam head on in stock form, get a bellhousing adaptor plate and flywheel made for the barina box for th 3.5:1 ratio and bolt on a serious gt28r turbo...... would make 350 hp easy on soft tune on pump fuel......... Sorry no pics of each mod i did.......... all in my head......
