oh me too, it`s been one of my very favourite best convertible/roadsters i`ve ever seen

& it`s the simplicity that does it,,, no fancy crap, just the bare basics & it`s just neat & tidy

I posted the link in a different thread the other day. Go to miniforum.co.uk and search blue speedster.

Unfortunatly this car had an incident a couple of years ago, IIRC the trailer it was on came unhitched, I know the car was badly damaged, i dont know if it was beyond saving though, but I do know the owner is working on somthing, either a rebuild or a reshell.

Any engine conversion involves major hurdles even if in kit form, so I'd say no..

Il add to that, if you find an engineer, give them a bike engine and say "here, make this go in my mini il pick it up when it's done" then Thattd be easy! But probably cost you 50 grand :)

There was a pro-motive kitted car registered and for sale in NSW a while ago. Who knows if the conversion was actually engineered though.

Send an engineer and email, asking on here will only create 10 different answers

Depending on the engineer you talk to you may get different answers any way  . If their not interested it'll be hard, if they are keen it'll be a bit easier.
_666_ I think they'd look at the reverse gear set up and maybe emissions. Most other issues should be the same as any other engine conversion.
