Hi Kennomini

They are actually my old tail gate struts off our old VN
commodore wagon,They would'nt hold the rear door up
on the VN but they work a treat on the mini.
If you need the length give us a yell

That is shaping into a very very good conversion... I need to get back into mine soon.... What are the flares you are using, they suit the car without looking too boy racerish!!

Keep up the great work.

Cheers,
Michael

Thanks Hallsey, I will try to source a set, I like the way they look. At the moment I am actually fixing up a '74 clubby I rescued from the wreckers. I have replaced the right front guard and apron and should have a quick coat of paint on it by this time next week. It is completely original and there was no way I was going to let it get chopped up for bits!!! After that I need to finish my boat build for summer and then I promise the Mini will start happening.... but in the meantime I grab any parts I see that I can use!!

Cheers,
Michael

Quick update

The stinking melbourne weather has held me up a bit with the painting
Even with the shed locked up and the heater going the paint still dulled off.
Had a few moments of sunshine so got a bit done.

Subframes are in and she's a rolling shell again, i hope to have the motor
back in next weekend

And back on her feet again (might be able to move her out
and clean the shed up)
