Had a helmet to clear today so used what I had left over and did the cam cover.. Can't see the sparkle in it, will take another one in the sun

Image

Also did a Sean carter Motorsport logo on the radiator and made a couple of air directors

Image

Ordered shite loads of parts last night in an Internet shopping blowout.. So will have plenty to do over the coming weeks

Also resigned from my job to concentrate on my own business, so will have more time too..

Radiator looks good, will you see it through the grille?

What is your own business? Is it motorsport related or painting?

:D

Yeah should be able to see it as I'm putting an Austin cooper grille in there, always wanted one and they have a more open slat so from what I can assume they will be the most air efficient for the rad,

My business is primarily helmet painting but extends to whatever other paintwork people might want, except for painting and repairing cars.. After 7 years of that I'm burned out..

Was planning on doing a bit more yesterday but a 50km mountain bike ride kind of ended that idea..

But did a bit more assembly on the new motor and partially wrapped my exhaust manifold in heat wrap, hopefully this keeps the temp down enough so the oil lines and radiator hoses are happy.

Still waiting on my new oil cap and adjustable cam gears..

Going for a different idea with the dash now, bit more basic.. But decided to make a wheel plate for the digital dash and added some buttons which will do things..

Will look a bit nicer when it's black

Is that legal :?:
To me it blocks your grip on the wheel and could cause your fingers to get caught :?

Its also not padded - an ADR requirement for wheel centres.

Meh it cost me about $2 to make if its illegal il just bin it... I don't know about you but I don't drive with my thumbs through the wheel and the only time I have my hands anywhere other then 3 and 9 is when I'm reverse parking it..

Yeah bro hectic amounts of NOS! Or, left and right indicators, high beam and horn.. So basically I will have a clip in loom, so if the engineer/ coppers don't like it il just un plug it, and put the indicator stalk on there, and no before anyone asks, it won't be self cancelling... Shh

Also got another box from jegs, this time it has a thermo fan and a few nice brake bits in it.. Love the fact it takes less then a week to get stuff from jegs in the us and demon tweeks in the uk yet stuff I ordered from over here takes 2weeks...

Image

Nothing to do with this car but I also started building another set of extractors for someone.. Trying to get them as tight to the block as possible.. Image
