Well that settles that then!

At least it was better looking than the red one with the funny schnoz on ebay at the moment

I've been following this thread since it started, and also trawling through links mentioned. Someone put up a link to Joe250's R1 mini in the US. He uses a MiniExvo kit. I have tried finding information about the kit, as it doesn't use chains, instead it has a gear train transfer to the diff.

I've found threads that say the kit was twice the price of a pro-motive kit, and it would seem the company producing them no longer exists.

Does anyone know anything about them, specifically the gear arrangement they used to transfer drive?

yeah i (was lead to) believe that the Exvo kit used a gear-box/diff assy in a housing that effectively "bolted" to the bike motor

i did find the company that was making them a while ago for a number of different bike engines but i have forgotten who it was,,, i don`t think it was Quaife

i`ll try to find them tonight

That black mini looks great. The videos show how well it was done. Very nice and big $$ spent.

I'd love to have it and I want his Camaro too.

Geez that sump is low.

I am fairly surprised he didn't procure a lowered sump (or oil pan as they call it in the US).
