Could someone please let me knoe their thoughts on both these conversions, Pros/ Cons

I dont want massive power like Baracades Mini but am aiming for somewhere around brads power output. For those that are completing a VTEC Mini and anybody else that might know what is the exact engine that I would be using and what models is it found in. Also I know how much it will cost me for a Starlet Mini conversion but how much will it cost me for a VTEC conversion.

Thanks again

MINIGTi :D :D

MiniGTI I think you will find they end up about the same in the long run. If I was to put a figure on how much it has cost me (purely for the engine conversion), probably around the 6-7 grand mark including halfcut. I am doing everything myself so maybe the stuff made by the pros may make things more expensive?

Cheers

I think you'll find the Vtec a harder job and most likely not giving a great advantage over the toyo. Really having the 160- 300 hp range just means thicker rubber left on the same place on the road.

My Vtec conversion is proving a host of fun, once I'm finished I recon building the space shuttle will be easy.

... and hopefully more likely to erupt into fireball

But yeah, I know what you mean. Some things that looked so simple take soooo much time!
