Hey Twincammini,

I read the writeup in Hot 4's. They say you have BD14 cams with the adaptronic. Can you give me some idea to the driveability compared to standard cams ie is there any torque under 3,000 revs, do they make power all the way to 8,000? Really interested to know as I was considering using same cams and computer in my g13b build up...

Drivability is good. Because the mini is so light you don?t notice the drop in torque very much around normal city driving. The only time I noticed a lot of difference is with 2 or 3 people in the car and on a motorway. say going from sydney to new castle on some of the hills at 100kph I would have to change out of 5 and some times have to go even into 3rd.

But around city and that its not really any different.
Power is really good after 3000rpm from there on really you don?t feel any drop off. It just keeps pulling. the harder it revs the more it pulls. From 3000 to 9000rpm you don?t really feel any drop off in power. Apart from when you hit the rev cut. but the std cams you feel a drop off around the 7000rpm

But to get the most out of these cams you really need to combine this with Big T/B, good extractors, and maybe some head work. and a really good tune.
