Yeah reasonably, they're OBX Torinos and they were $800 but that was including freight from Perth (long story). But yeah I pretty happy with them. I then bought two sets of seat rails from a 90 model Suzuki Swift. Did a bit welding and cutting and there you go.

As for the helmet AWD yeah not much cranial protection though some would say that isn't a problem!

Hi Matt...wicked colour on the seats.... :D

Looking at the rear mount....do you have a plate under the floor to spread the load under the nut underneath the car :?: (Hope its nyloc :D)....it would be fairly easy to weld a pad under your bracket....

The front mount could also be made stronger by making two saddles (U Channel) so that you could have a bolt on both sides of the tunnel....

Mick this is what I did this afternoon, you don't have a spy cam in my shed by any chance? I got these through modyourcar.com good to deal with. $758 plus freight...

Why not use the existing two fore and aft holes in the floor??? Just make a pad to go at right angles to what you have done already and weld it up??

That's not as silly as it sounds Mick. Not nylocs all round unfortunately, as you know I love nylocs! Still hi tensile steel with spring washers. Anyway that one is all done as far as fabrication is concerned. Only one downside the two seats have about a 20mm gap between them at their narrowest point. I wonder if this will cause me grief come rego... :?

Ricer all the way gafmo! And yeah Dean we should I think this should be sorted before Xmas hopefully as I am getting more confident about tackling the wiring as I found some much needed information on toyota wiring looms. Also I found that the standard intecooler might fit under the bonnet without modification so at least I can get her through rego and then look at the FMIC. 8)

Ehhh..Im often as silly as I sound!!!

You may have trouble with rego, especially if you can't get to the handbrake easily

Looks like full harnesses going in with the seats that far back??? :D

Oh no the gap down there is fine it is further up where they rap around your shoulders just before the head rest that is their widest point and obviously the Mini ain't that wide... :? Also with the front mounts their are captive nuts on the other sides welded in and also the right angle plate is to be welded to the bulkhead I think strong enough?

See the black patch on the side furthest toward the roof well the seats really widen out there. There room fix the problem but even so it won't be loads of room between them.

you might find that your engineer will want crush tubes put in that RHS because of the H/T bolts.

Why would it make a difference if I used mild steel bolts? If so I will paint them black with the subframes!!!
