Guys, Need info about engineer's for the conversion. When i started i rang an engineer and spoke to him about what i wanted to do and he confirmed it was OK he also gave me fixed prices of $100/ hr and $350 for final certificate. Anyway to cut a long story he seems to have fallen of the edge of the world, phone does not work and no new listing in the phone book. Anyway i started ringing around and got one guy telling me $1500 (seemed to pluck the no out of thin air) and another guy was almost as bad a Matt's inspector (probably related to the act inspector) need a cat convertor, collapsable column etc etc. So who has used what engineer and how much has it cost?? I am at the stage wher i want to strip the engine bay out to respray and clean the motor and re-assemble. Dan |

Dan I think I must have given you the wrong idea about my engineer, he actually said I didn't need a cat and basically didn't really tie me down to much really. As engineers go he was pretty open minded...I'd recommend him... Actually I just reread your post the above doesn't make alot of sense sorry... ![]() Cheers Matt |
