Well 2 weeks and $1250 I am back on the road. The new radiator cost me $550 inc labour. But at least she will never overheat again which was pissing me off and also wasn't doing the engine any good (think warped head etc etc). And I had to replace the fuel pump etc anyway so labour wise I got off pretty cheap. Still wished it had never happened as there is a GT25RR Turbo all by itself. Anyway drove her to work this morning in the "French Connection" style went like a dream. Just need to install a surge tank (though becoming less and less of problem) and obviously replace the water pump. Quoted $171 by the Toyota guy down here!!! Just need to do the bonnet scoop, FMIC (long way off), larger turbo, manifold, etc etc1 Cheers Matt |

good to here everything is almost sorted ![]() if you have about 40mm from the front support spare, you could fit an ae92 corrolla one like mine, gets up to temp but fan only turns on on idle after 20mins with water only in it ![]() |

Well given a few niggling issues to do with space at the front I will be removing the engine from the car over the next couple of weeks and finalising a few issues and then placing the engine back in the car. Watch this space. As for the rad Craig no too tall but I will hang onto it as I took the front fascia and grill off last night to find that the radiator they put in is sitting against the turbo and will eventually stuff up the wastegate actuator. What do you guys think I should do? I have a few options up my sleeve and the radiator definitely does the biz. An inch shorter and there would not be a problem. Cheers Matt |

Cheers Matt Matt...put a picture up of the fouling, offending item, my suggestion is to put an additional spacer(s) in the Turbo plumbing or change/lower the mounting point for the rad. |

the wastegate actuator can be moved fairly easily. |
