Hi guys. I reckon none of you will have come up against this, but do you think I could use a twin circuit Mini brake master with the starlet brakes un boosted?

Have engineers insistes on boosters for anyone?

Cheers

I have the twin MC and the metro brakes and no booster, never been a problem for me and I had to go over the pits 3 times. They questioned it but I well and truly passed the brake strength test. I guess we could start that argument about whether boosters only make pedal effort easier but don't actually increase the brake clamping pressure at the calliper...

They were designed to work off a standard mini master

Josh,
I won't be installing a booster.I don't see the point in doing so at this stage. I have finished the brakes and they feel good to me, they are slightly hard but i was expecting that.

My clutch is very hard, I am a bit concerned about it because i think its going to grab very quick. Will see how it goes on its maiden flight.

Josh,

I have to stop for the next two weeks as we have visitors from overseas coming.

But then i'm straight into wiring it up and as soon as that is done i can start her.

Brakes, clutch, accelerator, fuel lines all done. I have to fit the oil filter, i am currently waiting for the union to be sent from toyota in japan to be able to finish that of and run the line for the oil pressure gauge. Final item is the air filter and box but i can easily start it without if required.

Dan.
