Good show son, was awsome seeing the mini pounding out the hp at mdu today.

I have to hand my record over to you, my 169.9hp@wheels is now been smashed.

Made 180hp@wheels on 15psi, dyno was reading alittle low compared to other dynos in sydney, it made 200hp@wheels the night before at same boost. Now save some more pennies and get the ignition sorted and see what it can really do 25psi+ :D

To put in perspective on the day a super mini with vtec conversion ran 112@wheels, new bini 's' ran up 114@wheels, grants 1360 turbo ran 107@wheels, borgys g13b turbo ran 145@wheels and chongs 1100 ran 27@wheels :D

There of the top of my head so hp may be out alittle but pretty close.

Awesome 8)

Dynos are great for giving comparisons - 567% percent more power than Chongs

Awesome Dean, great effort mate now just a few niggly bits to sort out and the hp will come. On 25psi I guess you would be looking at 280-300fwhp?? As you know I am still a complete novice when it comes to turbos. Still I should get mine dynoed this week, nothing approaching yours but. Anyway mate well done wish I had been there bugger...

Cheers

Matt

I haven't seen that lovely car since I had my rebuild done, it was having things done way back in april. Congrats on teh HP figure Dean. Great sound coming from it and cant wait til you do everything you want to do to it imagine the reading on the dyno then, I shudder to think of the possibilities.

Well done Dean. Have you got the Dyno print out? Be interesting to have a look at it compared to the last one you posted.

You can see at around the 6200rpm mark something is going wrong as the curve should be constant. Is this the ignition issue you're talking about? What ignition was Brownster using? Reckon there is a chance you'll find the 150hp with 4psi? - (Refer Brownster's 348hp @ 19psi)

Hey Hey,

Thanks for all the Thanks... I had a really awesome day..

Was a little stressed on the day when Bigbad hoped on the dyno.. But he ran perfectly & everything worked out well...

Yeah will get a comparision up so everyone can see the new tune...

The Old Ignition system has broken... & you could see that in the previous 150kw post...

We have now put in a Fantastic Ignition system.... M&W ignitions... some 4 channel thing... Should never have to upgrade...

So am still running the microtech at the moment... & now am running the M&W ignition system... Am still getting some miss fire problems above 7500 but after only 30min on the dyno tuning... what can you expect...

Thanks again everyone...

nervous time when the car skips about. had mine do the same thing due to an incorrect tie down. fairly well soiled the pants when she moved.

above 7500 ha ha ha. whats redline dean??? do those 11000rpm monster tacho's even go high enough???

Dean,

BIG BAD CONGRATULATIONS.

One thing that i noticed when they ran Big Bad on Sunday (after having to strap him down even harder, due to wheelspin) was that the front of the car appeared to be flexing when the gearchanges occured. I am not sure, it may have been an optical illusion due to the engine moving at gearchanges.

In any case it was fantastic to be there and witness the event.

WELL DONE.

Dan
