ive got an 89 honda civic ready to be stripped and was wondering if the sohc version has the same fittings as the dohc version, its going in my race car so i dont care about any legalities etc.. just wanna know for when i make the subframe, cos i can copy more plans if they are similar

I think the '89 is a D series is it not? I would anticipate that the engine mounts for the SOHC/DOHC would not vary.

yeah, the block & mounts are the same from DOHC to SOHC if they're both D series, but B series is very different
