Hey guys,

For anyone contemplating a micra conversion, I was poking through Centre Road Wreckers the other day, and they have a 1995 Micra with manual box they are wrecking. The odometer read approx 100,000kms from memory and I think there was only impact damage to the rear of the car, so the engine should be fine.

Moneywise the wreckers are pretty cheap ie $140 or so for the engine (bare), $120 or so for the box but with wiring loom and other ancillaries the price would be more like $500-600. Still good value in my opinion for anyone willing to give it a go.

The engine needs to be removed by the buyer though so be prepared for a long day!

Hope this is of help to someone.

Cheers,

Steve
