Hey all,

I am very interested in doing a VTEC conversion, where did you all buy your parts from?

The B series engine should be easy enough to find, but where did you get the subframe conversion kit from?

I have found ones in America for about $3000 AUS.

its a bit pricey but have u seen the zcars vtec kit? its around 5500 pounds i think but it is WELL worth it and a fantastic kit with mid-engined RWD and somethign like 200hp stock!. im basing my design for the 4EFTE off the zcars rear subframe and buying their front subframe.

cheers, goffy

what state are you in??
i know of one VTEC conversion in victoria and he's having a few issues with rego, having to stick to 12" rims and a few other things, but so far i'm not sure any have been rego'd in vic... i could be wrong...
i know there should be 2 in aus running around, but most people have eather starlet or swift engines.... i had a look at the VTEC conversion... if you really are set on the idea, try looking at NZ sites... theres a mob making subframes with engineering certs for around 2K in their currency...

just an idea..

And as far as frames go it looks alright I reckon. Certainly alot of R & D gone into it.
