Excellent work.

I posted a pic about doing exactly that last year I think. Glad to know it works.
I have since sourced a set of 4 x 114.3 wheels so no longer have to do it though...

All painted yipeee.. Starting to put it back together now. Still the dreaded wiring to do, not looking forward to that! Paint turned out great, well for the $ it cost me it looks pretty neat :D Colour is a light blue metallic with a goldish silver pearl.

Slowly getting there. A couple of pics of progress below.
The mini is all wired up now, turbo is on but still needs dump pipe and exhaust finished. New larger throttle body installed from original 40mm now its 60mm, bolt on item from an applause.
New alloy radiator will sit in original position but will be thicker with electric fan. Front mount intercooler will sit behind the grill.
Interior is done, just got to pick up the front seats from upholster and carpet.
Driveshafts still need to be measured up, Fuel and brake systems all done.
