yes it is correct, the engine as it sat there in that picture less the inlet manifold on my dodgy home scales was around 65kg give or take 5kgs.

Its bloody light and with all the turbo gear mounted and other auxiliaries its still alot lighter then a mini engine. When i first sat the CB80 in the mini its stance was like a 4x4 with the hilos on there lowest setting with old sagged rubber cones !!

I will get the mini on a weighbridge soon for the engineers certificate and let you know the total.

My 4efte mini was 779kg, im hoping for some where in the 600's with this one.

wow 15's  Alot more wheel choices in 14 and 15 inch, plus my car has been changed to 100 pcd makes life easier.

pcd??? what's that?

I love those wheels!!!

How do you go about getting the car set up for those? With disc brakes, offset & clearance etc?

PCD = pitch circle diameter.

Why is it important? (Excuse my ignorance... I'm not a mechanical engineer)

PCD is the measurement of the holes in the wheels.

So the higher the number, the further apart the holes are.

So a car with 110PCD (A mini) cannot fit a 100PCD wheel.

There are a lot more wheels in 100PCD, so Brad got his car modified to take wheels of that PCD.

Everyone else is limited to a 110PCD wheel.

PS. It's actually 4x4"PCD

Which is 4 studs, in a 4" PCD

isn't it 101.6mm (4") not 110PCD?

If you fit 100mm PCD wheels on a 4" PCD hub, you will introduce a bending load to the studs that they are not designed to take. You will also not be able to correctly tighten the nuts, leading to damage to the wheel nut seat in the wheel.

End result in worst case can be broken studs and/or wheels flying off - neither of which you want.

cheers

110 is actually extreamly hard to get

very early mazda Rx7 ... and Daihatsu Mira/Move are 2 of VERY few cars/wheels with 4x110
