Hi All, I want to put an additional water temp sender in my alloy radiator, which is the hot & cold side and which way does the water flow? Is it best to measure the hot side or cold? |

The cold side is the one where the hose connects to the pump. I'd put the temp sender in the hot side. |

The pipe which is closet to the exhaust side is the water outlet and hot side the one in the middle of the head is the water inlet and the colder one. The outlet pipe usually has a spare spot to fit an extra sensor if it is not already used, from memory it has one that fits the standard mini sensor(usually blocked unused), one for the computer temp sensor M12 or M10 fine thread and one 1/8NPT which the original gauge sensor screws into. |
