I'm using these currently:
TIE BAR BUSH KIT FOR ROAD/RALLY RACE (4 BUSHES) C-STR627
http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=37257&title=TIE%20BAR%20BUSH%20KIT%20FOR%20ROAD...

From minispares, the hard outter one seems to have coped with the power but the inside one has seen better days...

What are others using in their conversions?

I'm using 4 bushes that are the same which are all nolethane material, I also fit a 1/2" washer behind the nut to squash the bushes more. This reduces the amount the bushes move under hard braking and acceleration which helps stop the car from wandering under these circumstances. Soft bushes are particularly bad for this and where rose jointed arms are better.

Im not having any stability issues under braking but on high boost there is of course the torque steer etc problem.

Short of going rose jointed, would the nolathane be better and last on the inside? what brand are yours?

I have the standard big round cup washer on the outside is that what your talking about? or an additional washer?

Can't remember what brand mine were, White line or something.
Under braking it pulls against the hard outer bushes and that would be why you don't have a problem but under power it is pushing on the soft bushes which move around and flog them out.
I use an extra washer to load the bushes up more than standard.

mine are made in QLD -i think superpro is the brand. I know its not a conversion, but they seem pretty good.

oops!

I've got mine in the wrong way around - 3 years ago I got it in my head that the hard one needed to be on the inside, and the soft one on the outside

Around $25 for both sides , i fitted one side today and they don't seem all that hard as i can squash them quite a bit ... the hard mini spares one is harder i think not sure whether to try 2 of them or if the superpro would be harder?
