Post subject:  Regretful of given up my 4efte conversion

Hi everyone

Due to my busy of work and running around for photography shooting and
also need to spare some time for my wife.

Therefore I need to get rid of my collections.
Basically I have bought all brand new replacement parts for the shell, resprayed and half cut.
Just need the last step to drop the engine in.
But the conversion part need to be done by a friend's workshop, therefore it will cost me
another 5k. So my wife are getting upset of me spending too much money on car and camera equipments.

Now, I decided to sell all of my parts.

Anyone from Melbourne are interested of getting the half cut and rolling shell?

Shell respray with Pearl White roof, Tiger Mica colour of Holden commodore.
Fitted with all new rubber seal.

Please contact me if anyone interest at it.

this is a sad post.

What you do is, put it in the for sale section for say $30.000.

Convincel the missus that thats what its worth. When it doesnt sell suggest to her that maybe it would sell quicker if it was completed.

She will stew on that for a while, but the urge for her to have it gone will prevail and she will agree to the next 5 grand expenditure.

Finish it up then re list it for sale for 30k plus the 5k or so it cost to finish it.

Then when it wont sell its everyone else's problem.

" I just dont know why it wont sell" *wink* *wink*

That looks so sweet. If I wasn't already waist deep in my own conversion I would be seriously tempted.

And what do you mean busy with photography? All my contacts down here say the industry is dead at the moment, what kind of photography are you doing?

mini-dinger, it's been nice knowing you.
But it's a good idea. well even send you nice messages saying it's a bargain and below what it's worth but we don't have the spare cash if you do advertise it for lots.

thanks for everyone's kind responsed.

I'm doing landscape photography as my hobby.

I know it's a huge amount of money to buy a whole lot at once.
Therefore I'm trying to get rid of the shell and the engine first, then all the replacement parts can be sell it as individually. If no want it, at least I still have all my spare parts ready for this project to be continue.

I like this idea, must keep it in mind.

And good luck with the photography, just don't go pro any time soon. Although then you'd have heaps of time to spend on your project, just no money.
