That's huge!how many litres is it? I was thinking of something like this which would take up the whole boot floor almost but could be covered and retain some space. I was just a bit worried about rear impact but I guess a std tank is right against the back panel anyway!Image

Not a massive update but my trigger wheel arrived so after trying to figure a way to mount it decided to make a home made lathe and machine the outer pulley until it was a press fit with the trigger wheel,

Result being this. Now all il do is position it, double check its correct with the trigger sensor, and weld it on with a couple of stitches.

I've got my shielded cable now too so I can press on with the ignition system!

Cheers for that, will give me some comparable measurements

Here's today's efforts

Got my order of fuel related gear from jegs, new regulator fittings and these cool hard line fittings so I don't have to use hose clamps!

Also finished wiring this in, including setting up the trigger wheel

All of this resulted in this :) runs like a bag of sh!t of course because I need to tune it, also had no exhaust on so it sounded like the death of the world but I, so happy it's all working!

Got my fuel cell and started setting it up in the boot, it's 50 odd litres so that will be plenty!

Image

New fuel pump

Image

Also got some piper cross filter socks for the ram tubes

Image

And turns out the rover mpi throttle cable is perfect for the bike carbs! Pedal travel is about 2 inches so may need to adjust the pedal pick up point but meh..

Image

And here's a video of it running on the std megajolt tune, idles un assisted now! Won't do any more until the fuel system is plumbed in correctly but I'm so happy it's running

Literally Havnt touched the car since July.. Funds are too tight, welder has broken down and I can't afford to fix it etc... Business is slow. Disappointing too I miss working on it..

Not sure when I will be able to continue.
