Nah- put it on top of a (modified) Mini box like Manx used to do way back when. I guess the box won't last long, but would be fun. ![]() |

Yeah well I am sort of torn between building another Cosworth powered Escort Rally car or building a Cooper S replica for the ARC Classics . . . until I saw THIS: ![]() |

Dave, that Mk1 Escort front looks sooooooo much better than the Mk2 style used on Clubby (shaped) Minis. ![]() |

I like it But I think it would look far better without the bull bar. |

But I think it would look far better without the bull bar. Yeah that bull bar is... bull. A useless POS... it spoils the car. |

I seen one of these drive into Steamfest at Maitland a few weeks back , Geez it sounded mean ![]() ![]() I commented to the owner as to how nice it was , and i heard him telling a bloke that he had tamed the engine down cam wise , to make it more drivable. |

I've been looking at that Escort/Mini pic for a few days now and I still can't figure out how they've done it. Mk1 Escort front end & (lower) doors, with Mini turret and (possibly) chassis with fully custom bodywork? Either way I love how this thing looks, I'd have one in a heartbeat! |

Sadly, they've done it with photoshop. Done it very well for a change, but the cameraman visible in the rear window and also slightly to the left of the car kinda gives it away. Would be great to build this, but really it would be a mini turret and custom from there down. it does look ace though. Madmorrie |
