Ok just out of curiosity. If time and money wasn't an option what would be your ideal conversion on a mini. So many out there just after some ideas of the best of the best.
And I mean do-able conversions too :D

I think an 1098cc motor into an Morris 850 would be the ideal conversion.

That's easy, Bladon Jets micro gas turbine driving electric motors, same as the Jaguar C-X75.

Probably some sort of high revving v8 from a prototype racing car.. But it would take a fully re engineered frame an suspension to get it to work properly so it would just end up being, a prototype race car with a mini body on it..

Twin mid-mount R1s turbod and injected....
No sound proofing, lightweight body but not an ugly fibreglass one just cut out bits of steel to lighten it.
See if i could stick with 10x6s, and a pair of cobra classics.
All painted up in a nice blue with the space frame lime green.

+2

with completely strengthened, both top and bottom end, probably pushing in the area of 380bhp, Quaife ATB, fully adjustable suspension, 1 seat, 6 point harness, completely stock looking body. possibly twin side exhausts, running 10" hotwires or Dunlops.
