I will probably get flamed for this, but one of the guys over at the redlinegti forums is thinking of converting a clubman to either a (turbo) G13b or 4EFTE.

He wants to know a ball park figure for the conversion. I don't have any experience but in my head 25k seemed reasonable, depending on engine condition, the condition of the mini and the quality of the conversion.

How much have your conversions cost you?

You're asking how long a piece of string is.
I've seen conversions done for under 10k, and others that have spend over 30k.

Even the most basic one would cost 5k plus the cost of the car and engine.
