Quick question. Is mega jolt the only real option for programable ignition or are there other options out there? Just doing some research before I buy |

There was a thread here a coupla weeks ago on a new system, maybe better than Megajolt as you don't need to scrounge parts. Here's the link I saved- http://www.nodiz.co.uk/index.html |

That's not bad, works out just over $500 for the full kit. Interesting |

That might be worth looking into Megajolt is fairly easy to setup and lots of people here are running it so that's always a plus. However, with your suzuki engine, i think it would look better if you had 4 stick coils. I'm not sure how you would go wiring 4 stick coils into the wasted spark setup but i guess it would be doable. If you don't use wasted spark you will need a cam angle sensor and a different system. |

Holly do a full self tuning system with built in engine safety features, no need for expensive dyno sessions and hours of tuning every time you change something. |

Doesn't need to be anything special, would that give me ny more power doing that? |

What's that system called? The swift engine has a distributor but not sure how it works on the later ones as ecu controls spark, can you utilise that system? |

Any "ECU" won't give you more power than anyother system it's just some have better tuning features, warranties, more options for sensors etc etc. IMO a $500 system would not be as good as a $1500 system, you get what you pay for. meeni wrote: What's that system called? Are you asking me what the Holly system is? Check this link http://www.holley.com/Index.asp?Division=HolleyEFI and watch the video (poor res quality ![]() |

Yes, first reply was about the 4 coil setup then the next one was aimed at you about the Holley system. Ps I know you get what you pay for but it is a road car, so doesn't need f1 spec engine management |

So why not just go with a Mk 1 dizzy? |

In regards to the 4 stick coils, i'm not aware of any particular performance advantage. Although not having ignition leads may be a bonus? Besides that i imaging it would just depend on the ratings of the coils. But it would look sexy and you would have less clutter in the engine bay Or as awdmoke asks, why not the dizzy? |

I'm looking at the holly systems myself for my BMW twinkie setup, I've spoken to a local race car engineer/builder/machinist and at the time he was a Wolf 3D dealer he was advising people to use the Holly systems so I think they should deliver on what they claim. |
