After looking at it again last night I think I can make it work by changing one end of the hose to a banjo fitting and mounting the top end to the subframe where it comes out from the tower. (Near the engine mount) then adjust the steel tubing to suit. |

Leaving the brakes till the engine is back in so I moved over to the clutch master cylinder. Straight out of a civic. I made a 38mm high mount which came up quite well. A coat of paint makes it even better. The pedal seems fits well and doesn't seem to over throw either. It will be another one of those thing to be tested when it is running. |

I meant brake pipe (whatever is legal. I blame the cat for walking over the keyboard. She's a great speller.) No it doesn't, I read it as potato potato as opposed to potato potarto, < even that doesn't help. Doing great work, liking the red much better, suits the Honda engines well I think. Keep it up and she will be driving in no time. |

Yep. The red is much better. Goes faster too apparently. |

When you painted the rocker cover did you mask the letters or paint thrm and back sand it? Did you bake the cover to cure the paint? |

I masked up the holes and painted over the letters. I then left it for 7 days in a hot shed while I was on holidays. When I came back I used a sharp blade to scrape the paint of the letters then used a sanding block with 400 sandpaper. Pretty easy. Just don't use wet and dry as the dirty water from sanding goes into the paint and can't be cleaned due to the texture. Just do it dry and blow the dust off with a compressor. |

Custom radiator done and mounted in. Before you ask, The yellow rocker cover is on to avoid damage to my nice red one. Engine is back out now for hopefully the last time before the final install. |

Fancy radiator! Have you changed the size of the core much from a civic one or just moved the inlet and filler? |

It was a Civic radiator but I cut the tanks off and had new ones added on with new locations for the inlet/outlets. Core size remains the same |

Fook! Haven't seen that! I hope you change all the bearings out whilst you're in there. As an absolute minimum- you should change the input bearing at the clutch end - it's a known weak point on these boxes. |
