These pics are also in my collection pics but thought I would have a seperate thread on Bathurst minis to see if there are others.

A money box I painted from memory while my daughter painted a fish at a kids plaster shop. I forgot the bonnet number! Bugger.

ChopChop helped with the livery on my 1/10 Tamiya RC, I'll need the hop up motor now. Thanks Chop. If you haven't done one of these before, they are painted from the inside. My first go but it wasn't too hard and I was happy with the results. The decal scale may have to be increased next time and I know its a rover! I will either tint the windows or get a driver to put in it next.

Me with the man himself, Bob Holden.

I got this one and the larger Biante signed by Bob Holden.

Bob signed the magazine for me too. He's a great bloke and loves a yarn. I think there will be an article about the car in the next TME June 08. Edit: just got the mag, haven't read the article but I want a copy of the stonie cartoon.

Let me know if there are more I should look out for or other 66 Bathurst stuff. Cheers.

very nice collection, love the effort on the piggy bank, top stuff.
The RC came out a treat too. Did the number plate fit?

Number plate pics attached now. I might have to do another piggy bank with a better job on the markings. (another $20-!) Funny painting in the wrong colour so that when it is put in the kiln and glazed it comes out the right colour. I sat there for hours doing it, meanwhile my daughter had painted two items and wanted to go home. Oh well.

sounds like a good mini run ending up making a piggy bank each.
