Post subject:  Italian Job Scalextric
Went into a hobby store the other day to buy a RC Helicopter and saw a supposed Limited Edition box set of the original italian job mini's in scalextric. 3 x minis - $150.00.
Slot cars usually around $50.00 each anyway so i thought it was a good deal.
Shame I had spent the money on the helicopter though. Dont think the Minister for Finance would have approved the purchase of both cars and helicopter.
Ian, have you seen this set before ?

I was in Perth. It was a hobby store in the city.
If hobbyco have them for $135.00 then they are 10% cheaper here. Plus you wont have to fly to Perth to get one. I would pick some up for eveyone but I aint back in Perth on this current Roster and I didn't bid for it on the next. Sorry,

Yes the Italian Job scalextric "Limited Edition" was released about a year ago but still readly availible. Also check on Fleebay and others :wink:

the hobby shop here just rang me, they've got them in - $199!! talk about markup! I'll go and have a squiz, if I like them, I'll get some from Hobbyco I think!
