Still can not find a red matchbox van in the shops anywhere if any kind member has a spare one and would like to sell it to me please pm me i really want one for my collection.....thanks.

There are still a couple I don't have (scotta74 has the rare ones, possibly matt68 as well) and the current red one isn't in the pic but there are a few to find ...

Hey sports850 that brown van on the transporter with the big wheels did you customize that yourself or did you buy it that way. I have done a couple of hot wheels minis in different colours and changed the wheels off other hot wheels cars they come up pretty good.

Nahh , that was bought off ebay , I've just got the guy to customise some of my old models from the swap box , will post photo's when I get them back but should be good . I've told him there's a ready market here for custom mini's and he's going to let me know when he does some more .

Here are some of the harder to find matchbox vans in my collection:

Blue van from the 5 pack, 2 different types of wheels

Latest Mini van from the matchbox 10 packs. You probably will never see this one on the shelves in Australia:

This is one of only 400 released, factory special for an English Matchbox collector's club function:

The blue one would have to be my favourite! I don't have any spares of these, so ebay is your best bet!


There is also a new best of british van coming out, just not many yet!

Here are the 'common' vans:

The yellow one is often called orange and it looks wildly different in different lighting, but they are essentially all the same shade!

Red Van hasn't the se;ve's here yet but thier are plpenty on Fleebay now but most are from US.

Matt thier plenty I havent even seen :shock:

Found a red van today at Target here in Sydney, so they must be in Australia now at the shops. Keep an eye out for a black/white Charger cop car, this has been with the mini everytime ive seen them
I seen heaps in NZ, matchbox cars are more expensive there $4nz a pop.
